Fish Sandwich

Great atmosphere. Came in for Indiana game tonight. Super fun and food was good. Only issue was that our server was visibly intoxicated and very hard to deal with. She was nice but not great. Had to go to the bar multiple times to get drinks.

Chicken Fried

It was pretty good. The chicken tender to bun ratio wasn't as clean as I would like. Had one or two bites of plain bun. Dipped it into white bbq sauce - solid. 8.4/10. -Fried Chicken King of Chicago

All Appetizers

Pure trouble. I tried most of the appetizer menu with my friends. $4? Crazy town. I highly recommend the app challenge. I have my faves.. the pimento cheese is naughty, the cheese curds are perfectly fried and who can go wrong with a pretzel. The chef's original dips add to the carb cheat. If you really want to be naughty go for the poutine with southern gravy to die for. Life is short, enjoy the Southern fare at bargain prices. Remember to tip on the full!

Poutine

Houndstooth was recommended by a coworker of mine for a great place to hit after a Cubs game. Everything on the menu sounded amazing but what struck our interest was the poutine. We both have never tried it and boy are we glad we did. Not only was it delicious but it filled us up as we weren't in the mood for a full on meal. The service and atmosphere were great and an easy location to find. Def will be back again to try some other dishes.

BBQ Pork or Pulled Chicken Sandwich

It's savory, sweet and a deal you just can't beat. I was shocked the Friday special was available during the Cubs day game. I highly recommend the BBQ pork, a Mule or pitcher. It's the perfect Cubs day game trio. If you want to up the ante add a Fireball shot for $3. The staff remember names and treat you like family. I'm always amazed by how the owners are present, community minded and make the place feel like home.
